I got all A's (and one B+, which would have been an A had I actually worked). I even got an A on the business plan...you know...the one that sucked. I have been a hermit for the past two weeks. It’s almost like I’ve been in hibernation...or better yet...chrysalis. (In case I spelled it wrong, that’s what the caterpillar goes through before becoming a butterfly).
Yeah Chrysalis. It’s amazing; I think I go through that repeatedly in life. We all do. We all change and change again. Some (like me...a notorious flake) change more often. But I say, it is better to STOP before a major change, and reflect. One needs to know where one has been if they are to know where one is going. I guess I am thinking about this because my changes are so cyclical and almost predictable (a horrid word for me). I morph from semester to semester. Before school I morphed from season to season, (Macys I celebrated winter in August, when we are working ion the collection. It’s quite confusing). And even before that I was a book buyer at a university...semester to semester again. I change from period to period, hair cut to hair cut. And on and on and on. I wonder what I will become after this summer. I realize that something which seemed so far away is not so far. In less then two year I will lose my last name. I’ve had it for so long. I will officially become half of a whole. It’s creepy. I know it should be romantic and all, but now that it’s coming up...its creeping me out. Gary seems so freaking mellow its maddening. To think I accused him of picking the most distant date one purpose. I’m the panicky one. Well, we now know what changes I will be working on this summer. I need a vacation…oh wait! I’m on it. Bleah!

The sisters have gone to sleep. They need a vacation too. Wake them when we go to the beach.
